a. If the DTOS prompt (
==>) is not on the terminal, reboot the DTOS tape as follows:
- Check that the tape is loaded, at BOT (the BOT light is lit), and ONLINE (the READY
light is lit). If tape is loaded, but not at BOT, RESET the ON-LINE switch, press BOT, and
when tape is at BOT, press ON-LINE.
- At the computer, hold the LOCK switch in the UNLOCK position and press RESET.
- At the Virtual Console prompt (!), type:
!100022L
- Observe the diagnostic tape header and type 1 ’CR’ to select the Eclipse, then type 0 ’CR’
to select the S/140.
