The Controller Board has a Microprocessor based Self-Test that checks over 90% of the controller and interfaces
at power up time. If a failure is detected during Self-Test, a corresponding LED is lit to report the failure status
(Ill. 4-3-13).

CONTROLLER BOARD CONFIGURATION
There are two sets of LED’s on the Controller to indicate which side of the interface the problem was detected.
These functions of each LED is as follows:
• SCSI CPU Self Test - Red LED (on the left)
• SCSI Bus Busy - Green LED
• Not Used - Yellow LED
• Host Side CPU Self Test - Red LED (on the right)
• Controller Busy - Green LED
