Why are the work lights not functioning properly on my Gehl SL3635?

  If the work lights on your Gehl Compact Loader are not functioning properly: * If a single light doesn’t work, the light bulb may be burned out, or there could be faulty wiring. Check and replace the light bulb as needed. * If no lights work at all, a 15 ampere breaker may be tripped. Check the circuit and locate the trouble before replacing the fuse. * There could be a faulty light switch or poor ground. Replace the light switch.

Check for a low oil level in the reservoir. * There may be a drive coupling failure. Replace the coupling.

With the engine OFF, remove any blockage or restriction. * Make sure you are using the proper grade of oil and that it is not excessively dirty. Drain and replace with the proper grade of new oil. * Ensure the exhaust is not restricted. Allow exhaust to cool, remove restriction. * Check the air filter and replace it if it is restricted.
