Convenience Features
Face Connect allows the driver to lock
and unlock the vehicle without a smart
key, by recognizing the driver’s face.
Register the face in the ‘Driver Profile’
from the infotainment system to use
Face Connect. A maximum of 2 faces can
be registered, one for each driver profile.
Face Connect Settings
The driver can register a new face or
delete the registered face from the
profile menu in the infotainment system.

A : face recognition camera.
1. Place both smart keys inside the
vehicle.

infotainment system while the Start/
Stop button is ON.
3. Enter the profile password and

Register’. The circular light on the face
recognition camera illuminates in
white and starts rotating.
4. Follow the instruction and exit the
vehicle. Look into the camera lens
while keeping your face 0.3 m – 0.8
m away from the camera. The system
will start registering your face.
śKeep the driver’s door opened
while registering your face. Audio
guidance may be provided from the
speaker inside the vehicle.
śIf the audio guidance is provided
while the door and window are
both closed, the window may open
automatically.
śCheck if the camera lens is covered
with foreign substances such as
raindrop or dust. If so, clean the
camera lens before registering your
face.
Information
ś The circular light on the face
recognition camera indicates the
progress of face registration.
- Rotating in white: Face registration
in progress.
- Green: Face registration completed.
- Red: Face registration failed.
ś To increase recognition rates while
registering the face.
- Do not cover the face with masks or
other accessories and look into the
face recognition camera lens straight
ahead.
- From the center of the face, naturally
change directions of the face to
register.
- Register the face indoors or away
from direct sunlight.
