With the vehicle on, select or deselect
œ'ULYHU$VVLVWDQFHƟ3DUNLQJ6DIHW\ŔIURP
the Settings menu to set whether to use
each function.
ś If ‘Front/Side Safety’ is selected,
Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist will
warn the driver and assist with braking
when a collision with a pedestrian or
an object is imminent from the front
or the side.
ś If ‘Rear Safety’ is selected, Parking
Collision-Avoidance Assist will warn
the driver and assist with braking
when a collision with a pedestrian or
an object is imminent from behind.
Information
'Forward/Side Safety' can be selected
only when 'Rear Safety' is selected. If
the vehicle is restarted, 'Rear Safety'
is selected and 'Forward/Side safety'
maintains the last setting.

Warning Timing
With the vehicle on, select ‘Driver
$VVLVWDQFHƟ:DUQLQJ7LPLQJŔIURPWKH
Settings menu to change the initial
warning activation time for Parking
Collision-Avoidance Assist. The warning
time can be set to either ‘Standard’ or
‘Late’.
ś Use ‘Standard’ in normal driving
conditions. If the Warning Timing
seems too sensitive, change it to
‘Late‘.
ś If ‘Late’ is selected, Parking Collision-
Avoidance Assist warns the driver
more slowly.
Information
If you change the Warning Timing,
the Warning Timing of other Driver
Assistance systems may change.
