CONNECTION
7.1 SELECTION OF MOUNTING LOCATION FOR
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
• Alarm control panel shall be installed in a secured
area, with no easy access by unauthorized person-
nel.
• If GSM signal in the installation location will be inad-
equate for proper operation of the system, an exter-
nal GSM antenna installed in an optimal location
might be required.
• An enclosure shall be mounted so to allow the ac-
cess with proper tools for opening and closing it.
• Before the final installation of the enclosure on the
mounting surface, PCB spacers should be inserted
into proper holes of the enclosure.
• The keypads shall be located near the entry/exit
doors, that allow using shortest possible entry/exit
delays.
• The keypads optimally shall be installed just below
the sight level. Individual user requirements shall
also be considered, like the possibility to operate
the system by the children.
• Outdoor sounders shall be installed in hard-to-reach
location, so the tamper risk could be minimized.
