TOOLS AND TOOL HANDLING
Storage
For easy access, the pen holder, knife holders, and pounce wheel
holder may be removed from the Dial Head tool kit and stored in
the tool rack. The tool rack was attached during assembly.
Tool Holders
For quick identification, each tool holder has a different colored
cap. The cap helps lock the tool in place in the carriage spindle
during operation. In addition, red sleeves protect tool tips from
accidental damage during storage. Remove the protective sleeve
before installing a tool holder in the carriage spindle.
