Configuring Phone Settings
In the Phone application, touch
Settings.
NOTE:
Available setting items depend on from which screen you touch .
Some setting items are available only for specific subscriptions you have
with your carrier.
Item Description
Phone ringtone To set the ringtone to sound when you receive a
phone call.
Vibrate when ringing
Check to have the device vibrate when you receive a
phone call.
Voicemail To enter the phone number to use for listening to
and managing your voicemail.
Dial pad touch tones Check to hear tones when you dial a number.
Quick responses To edit existing quick response text. You can send
quick response text messages if your phone is ringing
but you can't answer it.
Fixed Dialing
Numbers
To limit use to outgoing calls only to the fixed dialing
numbers (FDN) that you save on the SIM card.
Enable Notification
Bar
Check to enable the use of Notifications panel while
in a call.
Call forwarding To configure how your calls are forwarded when you
are on the phone, when you don’t answer, and so on.
Additional settings To configure caller ID” and “call waiting features.
Accounts To change your incoming call preference or Internet
calling account settings.
Use Internet calling To change your outgoing call preferences
