6.2.3.3 Clean the strainer
WARNING!
The heating coils under the strainer may be hot.
1. Center nut
2. Coarse strainer
3. Fine strainer
4. Detergent/rinse-aid
container
A dirty strainer could prevent water from circulating and create
conditions for growth of bacteria.
Cleaning the strainer:
1. Remove the coarse strainer at the bottom of the washing
chamber.
2. Open the strainer with the two nuts.
3. Clean the strainer by rinsing it with water until it is clean and
water can flow through it.
4. Put the strainer back in position and make sure that the nuts
are fitted correctly.
Check that the spray arm is reinstalled correctly after cleaning. For
more information, see section 6.2.3.1.3 Refit the spray arm.
