Basic Bot Guide
PARTS REQUIRED:
• x2 2906 Series Aluminum Set
Screw Collar (6mm Bore, 8mm
Length) ALREADY ON ROBOT
• x2 1500 Series Plastic Spacer
(6mm ID x 8mm OD, 1mm
Thickness)
• x4 2800 Series Steel Socket Head
Screw (M4 x 0.7mm, 16mm
Length)
• x4 2812 Series Zinc-Plated Steel
Nylon-Insert Locknut (0.7mm,
7mm Hex)
• x2 1106 Series Square Beam (5
Hole, 40mm Length) ALREADY
ON ROBOT
INSTRUCTIONS:
A. Unscrew and remove the 4 5 Hole Square Beams (and 8 8mm
Socket Head Screws) that were attached in Step 5.
B. Loosen the 8 8mm Socket Head Screws that hold the top 1x5
Hole Pattern Plates added in Step 9.
C. Remove the Set Screw Collar on each side that holds the end of
the Omni Wheel Axles in place as shown.
D. Using 1 5 Hole Square Beam, 2 16mm Socket Head Screws, and
2 M4 Locknuts, reassemble one front bumper as shown.
E. Tighten the 8mm Socket Head Screws that were loosened in Part
B.
F. Place 1 Plastic Spacer onto the end of the D-Shaft. Then, reattach
and tighten the Set Screw Collar removed in Part C.
G. Repeat Steps D-F for the other side.
