How to fix low output on my Graco Water Pump?
    • R
      Ralph PrattAug 18, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump operates but the output is low, you should: clear any obstructions from a held open or worn intake valve and service it. Also, clear or service held open or worn pump piston packings. Clear any blockages in the muffler or inlet filter. Ensure adequate air supply pressure and clear any restrictions in the air lines. Open any partially closed or clogged pilot valves and clear any clogs as necessary. Finally, clear any partially clogged fluid lines, hoses, valves, etc.

Why is grease leaking from the muffler of my Graco Water Pump?
    • R
      Rodney GatesAug 20, 2025
If grease is leaking from the muffler of your Graco Water Pump, replace the worn throat seal.

What to do if my Graco Water Pump runs but has no fluid output?
    • R
      Roberto Wilson PhDAug 23, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump runs but has no fluid output, first ensure it's fully primed by loosening a fitting at the outlet to release any trapped air. Then, restart the pump. Also, check for and tighten any connections to resolve oil leakage. Inspect and replace parts if the piston valve isn't seating properly or the piston o-ring is damaged. Refill the fluid supply and reprime if it's exhausted. Clear any blockages from the pump inlet filter, and check/tighten the suction tube connections to eliminate air leaks.

Why does my Graco Water Pump fail to operate or stop?
    • G
      grodriguezAug 26, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump fails to operate or stops, check the following: ensure adequate air supply pressure and clear any restricted air lines. Open the dispensing valve if it's closed, and clear any clogs if necessary. Also, clear any clogs in the fluid lines, hose valves, etc. Damaged components like the pilot valve, main air valve, or air motor should be serviced or replaced. To prevent recurrence, lower the air pressure.

Why is my Graco Water Pump erratic or accelerated?
    • M
      Michael JohnsonAug 28, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump is operating erratically or at an accelerated speed, first, refill the fluid supply and reprime the pump. If that doesn't resolve the issue, consider replacing the valve gasket. Additionally, lowering the air pressure might prevent this issue from recurring.

    Brian KingAug 30, 2025
Why is there continuous air exhaust through the muffler of my Graco Water Pump?
    • Z
      zmolinaAug 30, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump has continuous air exhaust through the muffler, service the air motor/valve if the piston o-ring or valve cup is worn or damaged. Replace the valve gasket if it's damaged. Lower the compressed air dewpoint if ice has built up on the valve plate, causing air leakage. You can also try lowering the air pressure, increasing compressed air temperature, or increasing the ambient room temperature.

What to do if there's intermittent air leakage in my Graco Water Pump?
    • J
      John LowerySep 2, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump is experiencing intermittent air leakage from behind the air manifold while still functioning normally, replace the gasket if it's leaking. Clear any obstructions if the thermal relief inlet check relief passage in the inlet housing is plugged, and replace the inlet filter.

What causes my Graco Water Pump to fail to operate?
    • M
      Michelle DrakeSep 4, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump fails to operate, increase the air supply and clear any restrictions if the air supply pressure is inadequate or the air lines are restricted. Open and clean any closed or clogged pump valves. Relieve the pressure and clear any obstruction in the clogged fluid line, hose, valve, or other accessory. Assess damage, and service the air motor if it's damaged. Refill and reprime or flush if the fluid supply is exhausted.

Why is my Graco Water Pump operating erratically?
    • R
      Ryan AyalaSep 7, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump is operating erratically, refill and reprime or flush if the fluid supply is exhausted. Replace worn pump seals, a damaged shovel tube, or a damaged check seat. If the check seat is damaged, you may need to replace the pump piston or shovel rod (or other damaged part).

Why does my Graco Water Pump operate but output is low?
    • F
      frank57Sep 9, 2025
If your Graco Water Pump operates but the output is low, replace the worn piston seal, damaged upper check seat (replace pump piston), worn fluid intake seal, or damaged lower check seat (replace shovel rod). Increase air supply and clear any restrictions if the air supply pressure is inadequate or the air lines are restricted. Open and clean any partially closed or clogged pump valves. Eliminate air pockets in the grease inlet. Relieve pressure and clear any obstruction in the partially clogged fluid line, hose, valve, or other accessory. Replace worn seals.
