5. Following the degas process, close the valve attached to the vacuum pump, turn off the vacuum pump and
open up the top ball valve.

6. Reopen the shutoff valves between the tanks and the pump housing and you are ready to begin operation of
the machine
CAUTION
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU VERIFY THAT THE INLET BALL VALVE IS
OPEN AT THIS POINT. THE PUMPING ACTION OF THE MACHINE WILL
RESULT IN A VACUUM IN THE TANK AND CAVITATE THE PUMP. THIS WILL
RESULT IN OFF-RATIO CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE COLLAPSE OF THE
TANK.
