Why does my Graco Paint Sprayer run but not prime?
    • K
      Kristen HernandezAug 2, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer runs but the pump doesn't prime or loses prime while in use, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure the Prime/Spray valve is in the PRIME position until paint exits the drain tube. Check if the inlet strainer is clogged or the suction tube isn't immersed in paint; clean the strainer and ensure the tube is fully immersed. Also, the inlet valve ball might be stuck or dirty; try dislodging it with an Allen wrench or power flushing the sprayer. Thick paint can also cause this issue; try momentarily turning the ON/OFF switch off and on. Inspect the suction tube for leaks, and clean the outlet valve if it's stuck or dirty. Finally, strain the paint to remove any debris.

Why is paint leaking from the pump of my Graco Paint Sprayer?
    • D
      Dwayne RogersAug 10, 2025
If paint is leaking down the outside of the pump of your Graco Paint Sprayer, it's likely that the pump packings are worn. You should replace the pump packings. If you have a ProLTS model, replace the pump packings with a new ProXChange module.

How to prevent paint from running or sagging when using my Graco True Airless LTS15 Paint Sprayer?
    • C
      Chelsea PierceAug 15, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer is spraying paint that runs down the wall or sags, it's likely because the material is going on too thick. To resolve this, move the gun faster. You may also need to choose a spray tip with a smaller hole size or a wider fan, and ensure the gun is far enough from the surface.

What to do if my Graco True Airless LTS15's coverage is inadequate?
    • E
      Elizabeth WallAug 19, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer is spraying with inadequate coverage, it's likely that the material is going on too thin. To fix this, move the gun slower. You might also need to choose a spray tip with a larger hole size or a narrower fan, and make sure the gun is close enough to the surface.

Why is the motor on my Graco Paint Sprayer hot and running intermittently?
    • Q
      qbarnesAug 23, 2025
If the motor of your Graco Paint Sprayer is hot and runs intermittently, and automatically shuts off due to excessive heat, ensure that the vent holes in the enclosure are not plugged and that the sprayer is open to air. Replace any extension cord that is too long or not heavy enough gauge. If you are using an electrical generator, make sure it has a proper voltage regulator.

What to do if my Graco True Airless LTS15 Paint Sprayer is primed but not spraying correctly?
    • W
      Wanda ReynoldsNov 6, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer is primed but can't achieve a good spray pattern, it could be due to several factors. Start by clearing any clogs from the spray tip and ensuring the reversible spray tip is in the SPRAY position. Strain the paint to remove any debris. Adjust the pressure to the desired spray setting. If you have a ProLTS model, clean or replace the InstaClean fluid filter. Also, check and clean or replace the spray gun fluid filter. Ensure the spray tip isn't too large or worn out for the sprayer's capability and that the spray tip gasket and seal are in good condition. Make sure the inlet strainer is clean, the suction tube is immersed in paint, and the extension cord isn't too long or of insufficient gauge. Inspect the inlet and outlet pump valves for wear or clogs, and thin ...
