2.23 Connecting the Adapter for AC Current Sensor (GS-DPA-AC) (Optional)
For the connecting procedure and specications of Adapter for AC current sensor, refer to the Instruction
Manual supplied with the sensor.
The connecting procedure between the GL840 and Adapter for AC current sensor is described.
• Turn Off the GL840’s power.
• Connect rmly the connector of Adapter for the AC current sensor to the GL840's GS sensor and terminal
/ adapter connection terminal (GS-INPUT).
• Turn On the GL840’s power and make sure that the sensor settings are displayed on the AMP Setting
screen.

GL840 main module
1. Hook portion ...................Used to mount to a wall.
2. Input terminal .................Used to connect to the AC current sensor (sold separately).
3. Connector .......................Used to connect to the connector on the GL840 module.
Please do not use in a state in which only the Adapter for AC current sensor is attached on a wall or the
like.
The damage of the connected cable and connector or the drop of the GL840 may be caused.
< Extension cable >
The module can be used approx. 1.5 m away from the GL840 by using an extension cable for GS (GS-EXC).
However, you cannot connect and use multiple extension cables.
