CHAPTER 3 Settings and Measurement
(6)-8 AC Line Frequency
Select the frequency of the AC line used.
Selection item Description
50Hz For an area with a power supply frequency of 50 Hz
60Hz For an area with a power supply frequency of 60Hz
In this setting, select a frequency for noise removal using the digital lter. Note that no noise in the power
supply can be removed if this setting is wrong. For the the sampling speed where this unit’s digital lter
becomes effective, refer to “(2)-1 Sampling interval”.
(6)-9 Add checksum to le
The checksum is used to check the consistency of the data le.
If the contents of the le are changed, checksum conrmation does not match the checksum, so you can
see that the le was changed.
The checksum function adds a checksum to the data le.
Selection item Description
Off The checksum is added to the data le.
On The checksum is not added to the data le.
* The checksum is also added to the backup le, ring / relay le, data save le.
For the checksum conrmation function, refer to "3.4 Setting menu explanation" - "(10) data playing menu".
The checksum is available only for GBD format.
When saving a le with software etc, checksum does not match.
(6)-10 Date/Time
Makes settings related to the GL240 clock.
The internal clock (date and time) of the GL240 can be set. Alternatively, if the Network Time setting is used,
the GL240 clock can be automatically adjusted via the network. Refer to the next section, "Network Time
Setting" for details.
<Network Time Setting>
This GL240 has the ability to synchronize the time of the clock server via Ethernet.
Perform the settings for using this function.
(1) Network Time
Enables or disables this function.
Off : This function is disabled. Time adjustment is not performed.
On : This function is enabled to perform time adjustment.
(2) Time Server
Sets the server name of a time server (NTP server) to be used.
