(2)-2 Captured data le name
This is used to select the name of a le or folder to which you want to save capture data.

Setting Description
(1) File Type Sets the le format used to save data.
GBD : Creating a data le in Graphtec's proprietary binary format
* It is not possible to change the data.
CSV : Creating a data le in text format
(2) Name Type Sets how a data le should be named.
Auto : Automatically supplies the le name.
Example: 20050101-123456_UG.GBD
Number part : File creation date
* The le is created on January 1, 2005, 12:34:56 in this example.
Arbitrary : Data is captured to a le with an entered le name.
Sequential number : A le is created with an arbitrary le name that has been entered,
followed by a sequential number.
Example: If the le name is "TEST"
First le : TEST_SER1.GBD
Second le : TEST_SER2.GBD
Third le : TEST_SER3.GBD
* If the same le name already exists, _CP* is added to the end of a le name to prevent
overwriting. The asterisk (*) represents a number.
Example: TEST_CP1.GBD
(3) Folder Species the le in the capture destination (or save destination. For details, refer to “(8) File
box”.
(4) File Species the le in the capture destination (or save destination. For details, refer to “(8) File
box”..
(5) Ring/Relay capture Perform the Ring/Relay capture setting. For details, refer to “(2)-3 Ring/Relay capture
setting”.
The le should be saved in the folder you created. When the data les are continued to be saved in the root
folder, the data le may be not saved regardless of the memory remaining capacity due to the limitations
of the le system.
Changing the sampling interval, capture destination, number of measuring channels (number of channels
for which the input is not Off), etc. will change the Capture Space and Capture Time on the screen.
If nd that the measurement time exceeds the Capture Time, take one of the following measures:
•
Change the sampling interval.
•
Delete unnecessary les.
•
In the case of SD CARD2, change to the SD memory card with more free space.
Capture Space : Displays the amount of memory space available for data capture.
Capture Time : Displays time available for at the SD memory card.
* The Capture Time is calculated for 2 GB at the maximum.
The Capture Time more than 366 days is displayed as 366 day over.
