CHAPTER 3 Settings and Measurement
Relay Capture Function
Without missing data, the data is continuously captured in 2GB-separated les.
(Maximum capture capacity in one le is 2GB.)
When the CSV Format Recording and the backup function enabled, the relay recording is not able to perform.
When the backup function is ON, the recorded data may be lost because the relay le is switched. In this
case please set backup to OFF.
(2)-4 External sampling
This is used to enable or disable or disables external sampling.
When the external sampling function is enabled, data is captured at the shortest intervals and retained temporarily.
This retained data is updated at the shortest intervals.
On receiving an external sampling pulse, the retained data is written to the internal memory (SD1) or SD
memory card (SD2). (See the following gure.)
Therefore, the maximum error in time between the actually captured data and the external sampling pulse
is the same as the shortest interval.
* Refer to the next section, "(2)-5 AC line lter" for details on the shortest interval.

If the external sampling function is ON, the external input cannot be selected for the trigger setting.
If the external input has already been set, the trigger will be set to Off.
When you measure signals with high noise levels, set the AC line lter described in the next section to ON.
