Function of analog input
Dierential pressure
Constant temperature
Constant curve
Constant pressure
Proportional pressure
External setpoint inuence
External sensor feedback
Example: Linear with min.
If the local setpoint is set at 4 m (100 % reference) and
the external signal input has a maximum value (10
V or 20 mA), the resulting setpoint will be 4 m. If the
signal input is reduced by 50 %, the resulting setpoint
changes accordingly in a linear manner.
From factory, the internal temperature
sensor is used for feedback.
Heat energy monitor
Di. temperature
Is automatically activated if an external
temperature sensor is installed.
This function can be used in the following control modes:
Controller settings (Kp and Ti)
From factory, the analog input function is tailored to a generic heating
system with a predened pipe length and sensor position in the system.
We recommend to use the wizard under “Assist" ”Setup, analog input”
if these predened settings are not applicable.
These operating modes are designed for the
connection of an external sensor:
Monitor the resulting setpoint under ”Status” ”Pump
performance”.

Signal input
Resulting setpoint
”Linear with min.” and ”Linear with stop”
The input signal range is between 0 and 100 % and is inuenced linearly. In ”Linear with stop”,
the pump stops if the input signal is below 10 %. If the input signal increases above 15 %, the
pump starts operating again. In ”Linear with min.”, the pump runs on the minimum curve
when the signal input is below 20 %.
The pump’s resulting setpoint will be a combination of two factors:
• The locally given setpoint, which is 100 % reference to the signal input.
• The external signal input (0-10 V or 4-20 mA).
