ZONESCAN INSTALL User Manual page – 24
Connection tests will indicate the radio signal strength (RSSI value) between any two
devices. This value is always negative, and will generally range from -50 to -120, with -50 to
-70 being excellent, -70 to -90 being good, and any value above being a
poor connection. An RSSI value between -90 and -99 may work if necessary, but -100 and above
should be avoided if possible. RSSI values worse than -100 are unreliable and may not transmit data if
minor weather conditions - such as fog – occur.
5.1.8 Finalize the changes
When you are done, you need to upload the changes you made to the ZONESCAN net for them to
become effective. Go to ‘Project Management’ and tap ‘upload’ on your project.
Alternatively, go to the map on the top right corner where you will find the options menu. Click on
‘Project’ and select ‘Upload’.
