How to fix high readings on Hach CA610?
    • G
      Gary JohnsonAug 4, 2025
To address high readings, check the fluoride and reference electrodes for looseness, looking for the O-ring and tightening the electrode if needed. Ensure the electrode was conditioned prior to use by allowing overnight operation and recalibrating. Also, inspect the fluoride electrode for low or missing inner fill solution and refill if necessary.

What to do if Hach Measuring Instruments shows low readings?
    • D
      Daniel WalshAug 12, 2025
If the Hach Measuring Instruments shows low readings, first, ensure the pressure plate screws are tightened. Next, adjust the sample flow and inspect the sample filter, replacing it if blocked. After that, refer to the plumbing diagram to correctly plumb the reagent and sample lines. Finally, check the drain line for blockages; if no flow is seen, remove the drain line and check for any obstructions.

Why Hach Measuring Instruments gives erratic readings?
    • L
      Laura MillerAug 20, 2025
If the Hach Measuring Instruments is giving erratic readings, ensure the fluoride electrode is installed in the top position and the reference electrode is in the bottom position. If the analyzer is new, flush the system with surfactant (2697453) in place of the sample to ensure parts are sufficiently wetted. Also, refill the measuring electrode inner fill solution if there is excess air in the inner fill solution chamber.

Why Hach CA610 Measuring Instruments display is on but the pump motor won't operate?
    • J
      Jessica SullivanAug 27, 2025
If the display comes on but the pump motor will not operate, there might be several reasons. First, ensure that the line voltage is within specification. Next, set the line voltage selector switch to the correct voltage. Then, connect the motor cable. If these steps do not solve the issue, the motor may be defective, and you should call Technical Service.
