2.5.5 Using the 1-cm Cell Adapter
Use standard 1-cm square cuvettes with the DR/2010 Spectrophotometer
when Hach's 1-cm adapter (optional accessory) is installed. Glass 1-
centimeter cuvettes are not supplied with the instrument, but are optional
accessories in optically matched pairs. Quartz 1-cm cells are not
necessary for the instrument because the spectrophotometer does not
measure in the UV range (but they will work well if used).

Place the adapter in the instrument cell compartment with the handling
tab to the rear (see Figure 8). This orients the adapter correctly in the light
path. When using glass cuvettes, place them in the adapter with the clear
sides in the right-to-left optical path. Close the cell compartment cover
