The ions listed in the table have been tested up to the given concentrations.
Cumulative effects and the influence of other ions have not been evaluated.
5. Heat the vial in
the reactor block for
60 minutes at 100 °C.
6. After the heating
period, remove the vial
from the reactor block
and place it in a cooling
rack.
7. When the vials have
cooled to room
temperature, screw an
orange UniCap B
(HCT 156 B) onto the
sample vial.
Invert the sample several
times to mix.
8. Touch the timer icon.
Touch
OK.
A 10-minute reaction
period will begin.
9. After the reaction
period, invert the sample
vial to mix.
10. Install the 16-mm cell
adapter.

details.
Place the zero vial into the
cell adapter.
11. Touch Zero.
The display will show:
0.00 mg/L Tot–Cr
Underrange
12. Place the sample vials
into the celladapter.
Touch
Read.
Results will appear in
mg/L Tot-Cr.
