Communication setup
5. Enter a phone number using the numeric keypad. This phone number is used by the
modem when it sends an alarm report to a personal computer running InSight
®
software.
8.2.2.1 Pager option
The sampler can be set up to call up to 3 individual pagers or a remote computer when
an alarm condition has been met. The pager setup is an extension of the Modem Setup
menus. To have the sampler call a pager, the Pager Option must be enabled.
1. Enable the Pager Option using the
CHANGE CHOICE key until enabled is displayed.
Press
ACCEPT.
2. Enter the phone number of the paging service. Press
ACCEPT.
3. Enter the number of pagers to call when an alarm occurs. Press
ACCEPT.
