  If the Hager Door Opening System door won't open, it could be due to several reasons. First, this system requires a normally closed circuit, so check the LED status for LD 5, 6, and 7; if any of these LEDs are off, the door won't open. Also, check the On-Off switch to ensure it is in the correct position and verify the status of emergency input 12. Finally, the door might not open if it has traveled close past the 0-degree position. If none of these steps help, you may need to launch a new setup.

  A slow flashing red LED (LD2) on the Adjustment Control Board of your Hager Door Opening System indicates a possible fault in the control, a potentially faulty setup, a loose or incorrect motor connection. Check the LED status for the other inputs to identify if any inputs are currently active. If the problem repeats and there are no other discrepancies noted, replace the operator/control sub-assembly. If there is a possible loose chain tensioner refer to Appendix for chain tensioner adjustment procedures.

  If your Hager Door Opening System door closes too fast in the last 5 to 10 degrees, first ensure that dip switch 8 is in the OFF position. Also, check for any binding of the door as it closes; if there's binding (like from a tight bottom sweep), correct the condition and then relaunch a new setup.
