The device has an RS-485 communication connection and features the Modbus® RTU communication
protocol.

Note
The maximum distance between the device and master device is 1200m.
Up to 32 devices can be connected.
An intelligent RS-232-to-RS-485 network protocol converter must be used to communicate
with the master device
