5.7 Scrubbing unit
The scrubbing unit (Fig. 28/1)
may only be disassembled and
asse
mbled by properly trained
service personnel.
The brushes, part of the scrubbing unit,
a
re not contained in the scope of deliv-
ery. Select the brushes according to
your needs and install them on the
brush head (Fig. 28/2) according to the
instructions, refer to Section 2.3.1.
5.7.1 Changing the brushes
• Check the brushes on the brush
head weekly for signs of wear.
• When the brushes have worn to a
bri
stle length of 1.5 cm, the brushes
must be replaced, refer to Section
2.3.1.
Before working on the brushes,
switch off the scrubbing unit,
turn
the key switch to position 0
and remove the key.
