5.11 Electrical installation
5.11.1 Red control lamps
Refer to Section 3.2.2.
5.11.2 Error codes
Refer to Sections 3.5.1 and 3.2.2.
5.11.3 Fuses
The fuses are located in the electronic
system underneath the seat console.
Take hold of the seat console by the
handle and pivot it up.
Always disconnect the battery
plug before starting any work
on
the electrical installations.
All the lifting elements and brush mo-
tors in th
e Hakomatic B1050 are
equipped with safety fuses and elec-
tronic fuses.
Safety fuses are installed in:
the suction turbines
(35A high current fuse)
the water pump and relief valve for
the water supp
ly (10A plug-in fuse)
the hydraulic motor (160A current
li
miter in the drive control) and
the working lights and flashing bea-
con, the key switch, automatic filling
an
d horn (10A plug-in fuse (F51)).
When these fuses blow, the
vehicle is out of operation. This
is not indi
cated by an alarm
signal on the operating panel!
5.11.4 Relays
The changeover relay for the driving di-
rection (forwards/reverse) is located in
the left-hand part of the driver's cab un-
derneath the foot plate.
Always disconnect the battery
plug before starting any work
on the electrical installations.
Loosen the screws in the foot plate
a
nd remove the foot plate.
The K3 relay is installed in front of
the drive control.
Replace a defect relay with a new
one.
Replace the foot plate and fix by
mean
s of the screws.
5.12 Cleaning the vehicle
Clean the vehicle on a weekly basis,
refer
to Section 5.3.1.
Park the vehicle in an appropriate
washing area.
Observe the applicable laws
and local regulations when dis-
posing of water containing
cleaning agents and dirt!
Switch the vehicle off and remove
th
e key.
The vehicle may only be cleaned us-
ing a water hose (working pressure
app
rox. 5 to 6 bar) and only from the
top towards the bottom.
It is not permitted to clean the
vehicle with a pressure washer
or stea
m blaster.
Do not aim the jet of water directly at
ope
nings, slits, electronic compo-
nents, operating panels or seals.
