WHAT IS A “COEFFICIENT?”
In mathematics, a coefficient is a value used as a multiplier of some other property. For example, 6X
denotes 6 times X. In this case 6 is the coefficient and X is the variable.
The diagram shown below illustrates this.
From the screen shown at the bottom of the previous page, press the DIRECTION “q” button once.
The box to the right of “ATTACK COEF” should be highlighted.
ATTACK COEFFICIENT
This Parameter allows you to adjust the Attack contour for each envelope zone. You can select from 0 to
127. A higher value creates a linear taper suitable for an “upward” level. A lower value creates an
exponential taper suitable for a “downward” level.
Turn the VALUE knob to the right to increase the Attack Contour.
Turn the VALUE knob to the left to decrease the Attack Contour.
