Start up Keysight IO and click “Connection Expert->Manual Configuration->LAN
instrument”. Refer to the following picture to fill in the IP address (such as 10.0.0.1) of the
HDG6000C and set the protocol to Socket/5025. And then click “Accept” to add the device.
The software will automatically search for the instrument resource currently connected to the
PC. You can also click Rescan to search for the resources.
3. View the device resource
The resource found will appear under the directory, and the model number and USB interface
information of the instrument will also be displayed.
For example, HDG6202C (TCPIP0::10.0.0.1::5025::SOCKET)
4. Control the instrument remotely
Click “Send Commands To This Instrument” to open Keysight interactive IO interface. You
can send commands and read data.
