6. Place harness straps over child’s
shoulders and insert buckle clips
into buckle unl they click’ into
place ❻.
! ENSURE that harness clips and
buckle are properly fastened by
gently tugging on each.
! ENSURE that the straps are NOT
twisted.
! DO NOT use child restraint if the
harness does not lock.
7. Re-fasten chest clip ❼.
8. Tighten harness system by gently
pulling on the up-front harness
adjuster strap unl all slack is
removed from the system ❽.
! ENSURE straps are at and snug
against child’s shoulders and thighs.
You should NOT be able to slide
more than one nger between the
strap and the child’s shoulder ❾.
A snug strap should not allow any slack. It lies in a
relavely straight line without sagging. It should not
press the child’s esh or cause your child’s body to be in
an unnatural posion.
9. Posion the chest clip at mid-chest, in line with your
child’s armpits and away from your child’s neck.
1. Open harness chest clip by pressing buon while
pulling apart the two piece chest clip.
2. Loosen the harness system by pressing on the
up-front harness metal adjustment buon, and
simultaneously pulling the shoulder straps towards
you.
