Configure the
Temperature
Probe
Set up your temperature probe in the InfoCaster Configuration Utility. After
configuring the temperature probe, you can display the temperature reading
on-screen using InfoCaster.
1 With InfoCaster running, select Start > Programs > Harris > InfoCaster >
Configuration Utility > InfoCaster Configuration Utility.
2 In the Configuration Utility, switch to the Temperature Probe tab.

3 Select the default units for your temperature probe reading: Celsius or
Fahrenheit.
4 Check the Use Temperature Probe checkbox.
5 Select your device from the Temperature Probe item list.
6 Select the COM port that the temperature probe is connected to from the
COM Port list.
7 Click OK. A message appears indicating that you must close InfoCaster
before you can apply the changes. Make sure InfoCaster is closed and then
click OK.
