CUTTERDECKS
Check tyres: Examine all tyres and replace any that are damaged.
Check safety devices:
WARNING: PREVENT ACCIDENTS - Ensure that all safety guards, shields and protective
devices are securely in place and in good working order. Check that cutterdeck drive cut outs
operate correctly and that the cutterblades do not continue to operate when the cutterdecks are
more than 300mm above ground level.
Check fasteners: Check all nuts, bolts, pins and locking devices. Ensure that they are secured correctly
and replace any that are damaged.
Check underdeck areas:
WARNING: PREVENT ACCIDENTS - Switch off the engine, apply the parking brake and
remove the ignition key before examining or working on the underdeck areas.
Gain access to the wing underdeck areas by lifting the cutterdecks to the transport position. Ensure that
the transport latches and safety locks are secured before working on the cutterdecks.
Gain access to the front underdeck area by using the following procedure:
1. Fully raise the cutterdeck
2. Switch off the engine, apply the parking brake and remove the ignition key.
3. Ensure that the transport latch and safety lock is secured before working on the cutterdeck.
