The interface setting of the bus is fixed, and cannot be
changed: 38400 baud, 8E1 (8 bits, even parity, 1 stop
bit). The same address as for the normal interface is
used as the address.
Bus termination resistors are not necessary for this bus,
otherwise the same conditions apply to connection as for
the normal RS-485 interface, see Section 6.3.3, starting
on page 22.
You can also use the HBM interface converter for con-
necting the RS-485 diagnostic bus to a PC COM port
(RS-232).
All the diagnostic bus functions are also available via the
AED_Panel32 program (from Version V4.0.0); see the
program's online Help for more information.
