      Stacey SolisJul 31, 2025
If you're not getting any sound from your Hear Technologies Mixer, here are a few things to check: * Make sure the Hub is powered on. * Check all input connections to ensure they are secure. * Confirm the input selector switch is correctly positioned for your audio source (HBUS, input A (slots 1 & 2), or input B (slots 3 & 4)). * Verify that the status-indicating logo on both the Hub and Mixer are BLUE. * Test your headphones, wireless transmitters/receivers, or monitor amplifiers to ensure they are working properly.

      Michael SanchezAug 5, 2025
If the Hub logo on your Hear Technologies Mixer is off, try the following: * Ensure the power switch is turned on. * Check that the Hub is receiving power; a yellow LED beneath the power port on the back of the Hub should be lit when the power supply is connected, even if the Hub is powered off. * If the yellow LED isn't lit, verify you're using the power supply provided by Hear Technologies. If so, try replacing it with a known working unit.

    • N
      Nicholas LarsonAug 15, 2025
If the Hub logo on your Hear Technologies Mixer is blinking red, check the A-B-C-D error code LEDs below the HBUS ports on the back of the Hub. * This usually indicates an overheating issue, which will be indicated by error code LEDs A, B, & C being lit. Ensure the Hub has adequate ventilation as specified in the manual. * If any other combination of error code LEDs are lit, please contact customer service.

What does it mean if the Hear Technologies Mixer Hub logo is purple?
    • T
      Terry RogersAug 20, 2025
If the Hub logo on your Hear Technologies Mixer is purple, here are some possible causes: * Check that there are not two 16-channel input cards on the same input (e.g. slot 1 & slot 2). The Hear Back PRO Hub cannot have more than one 16-channel input card on the same input. * If you're using an off-the-shelf network switch, it might be using a function called EEE (Energy Efficient Ethernet). Try bypassing the network switch by connecting the Hub directly to the Mixer to see if this resolves the issue. If so, try a known good network switch from the list at the beginning of the Hear Back PRO User Guide.

If the Sampling Rate LED is blinking on your Hear Technologies Mixer (FW V5 only), it could mean: * The Hub is not set to the same sampling rate as the other Hubs in the system, or that too many Hubs are connected. The maximum number of Hubs is 4 for 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, and 96 kHz, and 3 for 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz. * All other Hubs must be set to “HBUS” input.
