Refer to Detail 4-38 and mount the
brass
spring
(#258-115) at CD and CE on the RF shield. Use 6-32
x
318" flat head hardware with a
#6
solder lug at CE.
When the hardware
is
tightened, the end of the brass
strip will contact the upper lip of the RF shield.
Refer to Detail 43C and
cut
one lead of a
500
pF
mica capacitor (may be marked
".0005")
to a length
of 318". Connect this lead to the solder lug at CE
(S-I
).
The other lead will
be
connected later.
