slack  in each  wire between the ends of the wire. Then 
pull each  cable tie snug  and clip off the excess length 
of the tie.

This amplifier can be operated from 120 or 240 volts, 50160 
hertz, alternating current. 
Make the proper connections on terminal strip AE for the 
supply voltage  you will use.  Refer  to the inset drawing of 
Pictorial  4-14  and  perform  one  of  the  following  steps, 
depending on the line voltage to be used.

For 120 VAC operation, connect a bare wire between 
terminals  1  and  2  and  another  bare  wire  between 
terminals 3 and 4 of terminal strip AE.
