• Insufficient lighting is a considerable safety hazard. Always provide for sufficient lighting
when working with the unit.
• Clear the area to be plowed before each use. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas and
benches invite accidents. Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass, nails, wire, or string
which can be thrown or become entangled in this tool.
• Do not run when pushing this unit, but walk at a normal speed while operating this machine.
• Keep safety distance of hands and cloths from rotating or hot parts of the machine. No
loose clothes, neckties and necklaces are allowed when you operate this unit. If you do not
work with the machine, if you leave it or if you want to make adjustment, maintenance or
repair, switch off the engine.
• Start the engine carefully, following the manufacturer instructions.
• Keep hands, face and feet at a distance from all moving parts. Do not touch or try to stop
the machine when they are rotating. Do not operate without guards in place.
• Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used and remove all objects
which can be thrown by the machine from the work area.
• Do not use this unit on uneven, slippery or too sloping surface. Exercise caution to avoid
slipping or falling, especially when operating in reverse.
• Stable posture, especially in steep terrain must always be ensured.
• Take care in operation to prevent accidents.
• Inspect that all nuts, bolts and brush rollers are tight and well connected to ensure the safety
and reliability of this unit prior to any operation.
• If the unit strikes a foreign object or starts to vibrate abnormally, stop the engine and
check immediately for the cause (this is very important!). Vibration is generally a warning of
trouble. Repair any damage before starting and operating.
• Stop the engine and pull out the spark plug whenever you leave the operating position,
before making any repairs, adjustments, inspections or approaching running parts.
• Inspect the air pressure in the tires prior to use and pay attention to sharp objects when
using this unit to prevent the tire from being pierced.
• It is necessary to make sure the sweeper is safely put out of operation and secured against
travelling when working on wheels. Repairs of tyres can only be performed by professionals
with appropriate assembly tools. Check regularly the air pressure in tyres.
• Replace worn and / or damaged components for safety reasons prior to use.
• Take care during the adjustment or maintenance of this unit to prevent any injury to your
fingers.
• Don’t operate this machine without essential safety equipment (eye protection, earplug and
dust proof mask, etc.).
• To reduce the risk of injury associated with exhaust fume inhalation, do not operate in
unventilated area.
• Do not leave engines running in closed rooms where dangerous carbon monoxide could
cumulate. Do not operate this unit in closed areas-such as garages, greenhouses, inside
building, sheds, etc.
• Never refuel in closed room or while running engine as well as when is engine hot.
• Before you leave the machine in closed room, let the engine get cool first.
• Store the machine and fuel in safety place without fire resources (sparks, flame), not
accessible for children.
• Except as provided for in the manufacturer’s statement, no adjustment shall be done while
the engine is running.
