• Do not work with equipment that is damaged, incomplete, or has been modified without
the authorisation of the manufacturer. Do not use the equipment with damaged safety
devices or screens or with missing safety equipment.
• Since some parts of this unit are made of plastic or rubber materials, it should be kept away
from any chemical articles, to prevent a chemical reaction from occurring.
• Check the power line and socket before using this device and make sure it can work properly.
• Don’t use this device in the rain.
• Use only spare parts and components, which the manufacturer delivers and recommends.
• Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Any work not listed in this manual MAY BE
PERFORMED ONLY BY AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRES.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS FOR USE
• Insufficient lighting is a considerable safety hazard. Always provide for sufficient lighting
when working with the unit.
• Disposal instructions result from pictograms on the unit or packaging. Description of
the meaning may be found in chapter “Signs“.
• The operator should read the operating manual before use.
• No qualification is required except for detailed lesson of the use of unit.
• Only the persons aged 16 may work on the unit Exceptions are the youth that attend
professional education with an aim to receive the skills under the trainer supervision.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
• Wear approved eye protection! The operation of machine can result in foreign objects being
thrown into your eyes which may result in severe eye damage. Normal glasses are not
sufficient for eye protection. For example, corrective glasses or sunglasses do not provide
adequate protection because they have not special safety glass and aren’t enough closed
from the sides.
• Wear adequate noise protection equipment! The impact of noise can cause hearing damage
or hearing loss. Take frequent work breaks. Limit the amount of exposure per day.
• Always wear sturdy shoes with nonslip soles. Risk of damaging the legs or risk of slipping on
wet or slippery ground. This protects against injuries and ensures a good footing.
PETROL SWEEPER - SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Solid boots and long trousers should always be worn when sweeping. Never sweep when
barefooted or in light sandals.
• Ensure sufficient distance of your legs from the sweeping brush.
• Stop the sweeping roll during transport. Stop the sweeping roll if the appliance must be
tipped over.
• Be especially careful when changing the movement direction when going up. Do not sweep
in too steep positions (max. 20°).
• The operator must keep distance delimited by rods when using the sweeper for any purpose,
especially when turning! It is prohibited to stay in an area that is dangerous.
• Adjust the brush to proper height prior to any operation.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE THE SNOW THROWER
(SNOWBLOWER = OPTIONAL ACCESSORY)
• Use for snow removal only. Never use the machine for transport of persons.
• Work with the machine only on safety surface. Do not work on stone or gravel surfaces –
danger of machine damage and flying stones.
