CHUTE DIRECTIONAL CONTROL
At least once a season, the joystick should be lubricated with a multipurpose automotive
waterproof grease.
AUGER SHAFT
At least once a season, remove the shear pins (fig. 31A) on auger shaft. Spray lubricant inside
shaft, around the spacers. Also lubricate the flange bearings found at either end of the shaft.
GEAR CASE
The auger gear case has been filled with grease and sealed at the factory. Adding or replacement
lubricants refer to authorized service.
CLEANING
CAUTION! A
Do not hose engine. Water can damage engine or contaminate the fuel system.
1. Allow engine to cool before cleaning to prevent your burning when handling with it.
2. After use, clean the outside of the machine.
3. The chute clean always immediately after finishing work. Then let machine get dry well.
Then wipe off the whole machine and remove all dirts.
4. The sweeper, especially the sweeping brush, must be cleaned after each use.
5. Wipe the surface of the machine and engine cover with dry cloth. Clean the cover of
the machine, especially the ventilation holes.
6. Do not let the handles contaminate with oil or grease. Clean the handle clean with a damp
cloth washed in soapy water.
7. Do not use solvents or petrol! This can cause irreparable damage to the product. The plastic
parts can be eaten away by chemicals.
8. If any of the parts of the machine is cleaned by water or a damp cloth, etc., it must be
completely dry. Then the metal parts must be grease agains the corrosion with suitable
protective oil. Make sure that the water doesn´t leak into the internal parts of the machine.
9. If there is a connection to a garden hose on part of the machine, it is possible this part wash
by water. Then it is necessary the whole washed part of the machine and places where
the water were sprayed when cleaning, completely dry and grease agains the corrosion with
suitable protective oil.
10. We do not recommend washing the machines with pressure washer.
11. Potential damage of the parts due to corrosion, can not be assessed as a manufacturing or
material defect.
C In any case, do not wash by water the parts of machine, which are not intended for
it.
C Never use aggressive detergents or solvents for cleaning.
DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY/CHANGE OF SWEEPING BRUSHES
1. Disassemble the external carrying disk (fig. 32A).
2. The brush and spacer segments can now be individually removed.
