CHARGE PRESSURE FOR TIRES
Make sure there is the right tire inflation pressure (see Specifications). If the pressure is too low,
the hose may slip down on the casing and get damaged. Excessive over inflation can lead to
a tire explosion.
To inflate the tires use an inflation gun featuring pressure gauge.
OPERATION

Carbon monoxide gas is toxic. Breathing it can cause unco nsciousness and even kill
you. Avoid any areas or actions that expose you to carbon monoxide.
Note: I
This engine is delivered without oil, be sure to put oil in the engine before the starting.
Use only the recommended types of oil.
• Before starting the engine, get rid the engine of all external load.
• Directly coupled device components, f. e. blades, impellers, pulleys, sprockets, etc., must be
securely fastened (they move when starting).
MANUAL START ELECTRIC START (ONLY MODEL 8616 SE)
Before starting release coupling lever (fig. 19A, 19B) so that the machine does not start to
move immediately after engine start. Before starting check fuel and oil level.
Adjust fuel valve (fig. 20A / 21A) to ON.
Throttle lever (fig. 20C / 21C) put in position of symbol „Rabbit“.
For extreme cold operating conditions press 1x to 3x primer (fig. 22C). Making sure to cover
vent hole when pushing. If the engine is warm, push the primer only once. Cool weather
may require priming to be repeated.
For cold start push the choke lever (fig. 20 b / 21B) to 1 position.
Turn the switch (fig. 23A). to “ON“ position.
Pull the starting rope till you feel resistance
(fig. 24A). Then pull strongly and evenly.
Starting rope hold firmly and let slowly
rewind.
CAUTION! A
Rapid retraction of starter cord
(kickback) will pull hand and arm
toward engine faster than you can let
go. Broken bones, fractures, bruises or
sprains could result.
Plug in the power cord (fig. 25A). Press
the power supply (fig. 25B). Note: Do not push
the button for the power supply until you are
sure the power cord is properly connected into
a power source.
After starting the engine remove the plug and
close the cover.
If the machine does not start in 5 seconds,
check again the whole machine. Starting up
again twice with a minute pause, otherwise
damage to the starter device.
Choke adjustment: When the engine starts to run, get choke lever slowly back to position 0/
RUN. Before each movement of the lever wait till the engine speed gets stable.
