12.3. Adjustment of the descent speed
1 Load the vehicle with half the rated load and carry out a complete ascent travel;
write down the ascent time.
2 Carry out a complete descent travel. Write down the travel time. The descent and
ascent times should be approximately the same.
3 If the descent time is longer than the ascent time, loosen the B bolt for the
adjustment of the descent speed. If is necessary to increase the descent speed,
loosen this bolt.
4 Carry out the measurements of the travel times again and repeat the procedure
until both speeds are approximately equal.
13. Adjustment of the overload detection system
1 With the vehicle wihout load and on the lower landing level, actuate the ascent
push button to bring the vehicle approximately 30 mm above the lower landing
level, in such a way that the vehicle is not in contact with the oor. Verify in the 
machine cabinet that led “I14” is turned off and that led “I15" is turned on.
2 Cut off electrical supply, disconnecting the main switch IP.
3 Connect the electrical supply again, and led “INF” in the control board in the
machine cabinet shall turn on for 5 seconds. During this lapse, press the “P1” push
button located in the same board to start the adjustment procedure.

4 Load the vehicle with the rated load.
5 Carry out a complete and uninterrupted ascent travel until the vehicle arrives at the
upper landing level.
6 For ve seconds after this ascent travel has been nished, the “INF” led shall 
remain turned on, and the system shall be adjusted. Should this not be the case,
the led shall blink nine times and the adjustment process shall have to be carried
out again.
