9. Upper landing door assembly
The upper-level door is required for platforms with a travel distance of more than
500 mm. The assembly procedure for the two supplied attachment options is
described below: direct attachment to the ooring or using a built-in xing plate.
1 Position the xing plate on the upper-level entrance ush with the wall and align the
clearance mark on the hinge side with the useful width end of the platform.

2 Without removing the plate, drill a Ø10 hole and insert a rod or screw as a guide to
prevent it from moving when you continue drilling.
3 Drill a second hole as distant as possible from the rst one and insert another
threaded rod or bolt.
4 Drill the remaining holes while taking care not to move the plate.
5 Before removing the plate, mark the slots for the cables. In the case of a semi-
automatic door, only the slot for the locking post will be necessary.
6 Remove the plate and re-drill to Ø16 and a depth of 100 mm.
7 Make the slots for the cabling on the marks..
8 Blow out the drill holes and insert the expansion anchors.
9 Position the xing plate and ll the drill holes from the bottom outwards with
6 applicator shots. Immediately insert the M8 sleeves with their countersunk
screws before the resin can harden.
