Satellite icon jumps out of circle / Pointing screen points in the wrong direction
SpaceLinq uses the phone’s internal compass. Sometimes the compass “gets lost.” When this happens, it
can be difficult to keep the satellite icon in the circle or the Pointing screen can point you in the wrong
direction.
To recalibrate the compass, hold your phone and tilt it toward the ground. Move it in a figure eight several
times. This should reset the compass. Try sending or checking for messages again.
SpaceLinq can’t find my SatPaq
• Be sure your SatPaq is charged and close by.
• Turn off Bluetooth through your phone’s settings and then turn it back on.
• If that doesn’t work, firmly press the reset button on the back, bottom right corner of your SatPaq. An
amber light flashes in the “Q” on the front and then blinks blue several times, indicating the reset
was completed.
• If that doesn’t work, turn the phone off and back on.
• On occasion, SpaceLinq may pair with another device via Bluetooth. In this case, move several
hundred feet from your current location. Repeat the steps above. Then tap the battery icon on the
SpaceLinq screen and tap Select SatPaq.
I asked Dr. Dex about something and the answer didn't match my question.
We regret that happened. Dr. Dex uses AI (Artificial Intelligence) to process questions by recognizing
patterns. Dr. Dex is still “learning” those patterns. If a Dr. Dex response doesn’t match your question, please
take a screen shot and email it to support@satpaq.com. Then try asking your question again using different
wording.
