■ WHEN USING WITH THE AC ADAPTER/CHARGER (provided)
1. Attach the external power adapter (provided)
to the camera/recorder as shown in the figure.
2. Connect the external power adapter plug to
the DC OUTPUT jack of the AC adapter/
charger.
3. Plug the AC adapter/charger power cord into
an AC electrical outlet; the POWER indicator
on the AC adapter/charger will come on.
4. To remove the external power adapter from
the camera/recorder, pull it gently.
See the bottom of the AC adapter/charger.
The rating label is located on the bottom of
the AC adapter/charger.
NOTES:
• This AC adapter/charger is universal for use
with AC 110— 240V around the world. If you
use the camera/recorder in some foreign
countries, the AC plug adapter (provided) may
be necessary.
• The AC adapter/charger cannot charge the bat¬
tery and operate the camera/recorder at the
same time.
■ WHEN USING WITH THE CAR BATTERY (By using optional car adapter/charger)
1. Connect the external power adapter (provided)
to the camera/recorder, as illustrated.
2. Connect the small plug of the external power
adapter to DC OUTPUT of the car adapter/
charger.
3. Connect the car adapter/charger to a car's cig¬
arette lighter socket. The power indicator
lights.
NOTES:
• The car adapter/charger is designed to be used
only with automobiles having a 12/24-volt
negative ground system.
• To prevent fire or shock hazards or damage to
your camera/recorder, use only the specified
car adapter/charger.
