1 2 .1 Proper usage
HOLZMANN MASCHINEN cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damages if there was
performed manipulation or adjustments to the machine.
For another usage and resulting dam ages or injuries HOLZMANN MASCHI NEN
doesn’t assum e any responsibilit y or guarantees.
Warning labels and/or other labels on the machine must be replaced when they were removed.

In the following machine this guards are in effect:
Emergency button on the control panel
Shutdown when opening the motor pulley cover
Keep your w ork area dry and tidy! An unt idy w ork area m ay cause accidents. Avoid
slippery floor.
Make sure the w ork area is lighted sufficiently
Do not overload the m achine
Provide good stability and keep balance all tim es
Avoid abnorm al w orking postures! Make sure you stand squarely and keep balance
at all tim es.
Keep aw ay from the running drill!
Alw ays st ay focused w hen w orking. Reduce distortion sources in your w orking
environm ent. The operat ion of the m achine w hen being tired, as w ell as under the
influence of alcohol, drugs or concent ration influencing m edicam ents is forbidden.
Do not clim b ont o the m achine!
At tach the m achine to the underground
Respectively t rained people only and only one person shall operate the m achine.
Do not allow other persons, particularly children, to touch t he m achine or the ca-
ble. Keep them aw ay from your w ork area.
Make your w orkshop childproof.
Make sure there is nobody present in the dangerous area. The m inim um safet y
distance is 2 m
W ear suit able w ork clothes! Do not w ear loose clothing or jew elry
as they m ight get caught in m oving parts and cause severe acci-
dents! W ear a hair net if you have long hair.
Use personal safety equipm ent: ear protectors and safety goggles w hen w orking
w ith the m achine.
