SERVICING YOUR OUTBOARD MOTOR
5. Disconnect the 2 pin coupler
(blue).
6. Remove the suspension strap from
the water separator bracket, and
then remove the suspension strap
from the water separator.
7. Bind the two fuel hoses with hose
clips to prevent fuel leakage, and
disconnect the fuel hoses.
8. Bind the drain hose with the hose
clip, and disconnect the hose from
drain valve.
9. Remove the three screws holding
the water separator, empty the
water or deposits from the inside of
the cup.
10. Reassemble the water separator in
the reverse order of removal. Use
a new O-ring.
TIGHTENING TORQUE:
2.5 lbf·ft (3.4 N·m, 0.35 kgf·m)
