D. Press the #2 bearing pointer button (NEXT ITEM) to move the select pointer on the display
down to ASCII TEXT PAGE.
E. Press the RANGE DOWN button to display the ASCII TEXT PAGE MENU. See figure 2-
6C.
F. Press the #2 bearing pointer button (NEXT ITEM) to move the select pointer on the display
down to RADAR BUS.
G. Press the RANGE DOWN button to display the ART 2000 MAINTENANCE page. See fig-
ure 2-6D.
H. Press the WxA button to display the MAINT FUNCTIONS menu. See figure 2-7A.
I. Press the GND MAP button to move the select pointer on the display to STAB CALIBRA-
TION. See figure 2-12
J. Press the WxA button to display the STAB CALIBRATION options. See figure 2-12.
K. Press the GND MAP button to select PASSIVE CALIBRATION.
If an ARINC 429 gyro is being used, Proceed to Step Q.
L. REF GAIN ADJUST
1. Press the WxA button to display the REF GAIN ADJUST page (see figure 2-13).
Set the TILT knob for a value of 0.0 as shown in the upper right portion of the dis-
play.
2. Press the WxA button again to display brackets around the REF value. This allows
the TILT knob to change the REF value when turned. Adjust for a reading of 0.0

in the REF field.
3. Check that the tilt table containing the stabilization source is level and set the table
to 0
°
pitch and roll.
NOTE
If the 400 Hz REF field is 0, and will not change when
the TILT knob is adjusted, check that the correct
gyro has been selected when programming the Con-
figuration Module.
4. Proceed to Step M.
M. PITCH OFFSET
1. Set the tilt table for 0
°
pitch and roll. Press the GND MAP button to display the
PITCH OFFSET page (see figure 2-15).
2. Press the WxA to display brackets around the PITCH value. Adjust the TILT knob
for a PITCH value of 0.0 ± 1.0
°
. Press the WxA button to deselect the brackets.
3. Set the tilt table to 10
°
pitch up. The value should be 10.0U ± 1.0
°
.
4. Set the tilt table to 10
°
pitch down. The value should be 10.0D ± 1.0
°
.
5. Set the tilt table to 0
°
pitch. The value should be 0.0 ± 1.0
°
