Mounting Considerations
This section discusses optical alignment and mounting considerations. There are several different ways to
mount the FF-SB Series light curtains (singularly, in groups, and in several different orientations).
Optical Alignment
Proper optical alignment of the FF-SB Series light curtains ensures optimum operation. The emitter and
receiver units must be mounted in parallel, at the same height, and with an angular displacement of no more
than +2
o
. See figure 2-5 for proper alignment.
