FF-SB15 Mounting
IMPROPER POINT-OF-OPERATION PROTECTION
Do NOT use FF-SB15 Series light curtains for point-of-operation applications.
Failure to comply with these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
Using the alignment mark located near the connector of each FF-SB15 emitter and receiver unit, (see
figure 2-9) mount the three beam units so that the mark is 300 mm (11.8 in.) above the ground with connector
down or 1100 mm (43.3 in.) above the ground with the connector up.
Mount the two-beam-group FF-SB15 light curtain units so the alignment mark is 400 mm (15.75 in.) or 900
mm (35.4 in.) above the floor. Note the orientation of the connector (see figure 2-9).
