INSTALLING SOFTWARE
7.1 INSTALLING THE SETMAX SOFTWARE ON YOUR PC
A CD-ROM is included in the documentation package. This CD-ROM contains the
Commissioning Manual, Operator’s Manual, the Quick Start Configuration Guide, and
the SETMAX for Windows editor software. The SETMAX software must be loaded onto
a PC or laptop in order to edit the default configuration. The SETMAX program requires
approximately 6 MB of space on the hard drive. If a CD-ROM is not available, please
contact Honeywell Technical Support and request SETMAX for Windows® on 3½-inch
diskettes.
Perform the following steps to install SETMAX for Windows® onto your PC or laptop:
1) Load the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive on your PC or laptop.
2) Select the Windows START button
3) Select R
un.
Browse the CD directory and locate the Setup.exe file.
4) Select Setup.exe and click on the O
pen button. Select OK in the RUN window.
Follow the setup prompts.
The SETMAX software will be installed on your hard drive at the following location:
C:\Program Files\Setmax.
You may create a shortcut to Setmax.exe on your desktop if desired.
